UAE Jet Ski Championship is a water sports event that is to be held at Breakwater Abu Dhabi. It is organized collectively by the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports club (ADIMSC) and the Dubai International Marine Sports Club (DIMSC). UAE Jet Ski Championship has become a popular international event since its launch. It has turned out into an International Championship with the cream of the Jet Ski racers from the world and from the Arab countries participating in the event. HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club is the patron of the UAE Jet Ski Championship 2013.
The UAE Jet Ski Championship is to be held over six rounds. Three rounds are held ta Dubai and three rounds are held at Abu Dhabi. The rounds in Abu Dhabi are organized by the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club. The course of the championship is organized near the shores of Abu Dhabi. It helps the water sports enthusiasts to view this thrilling water sports up close and personal. There will be mainly two categories for the event. Competitions will be held for these categories named as stand up racing and sit down racing. The names are referred to the position taken by the riders on the Jet Ski. The participants are allowed to compete in the category they are specialized in. Success in the UAE Jet ski championship entirely depends upon the skill and talent of the competitors. There will be expert, professional, beginner and freestyle categories in the UAE Jet Ski Championship.
Here is a word about the Abu Dhabi International and Marine Sports Club who are the main organizers of the event. It was established in 1993 to organize major national and international water sports events. The UAE Wooden Powerboat Championship and UAE Jet ski championship are some of the international events that are organized by the ADIMSC every year. It upholds the rich maritime history of Abu Dhabi.
