Yas Waterworld is one such marvel which is getting ready to entertain and give all types of fun and excitement. It is getting ready for its opening on January 24, 2013 – so don’t miss the event. The whole world occupies an area of 15 football pitches, with 43 rides, slides & attractions and five of which are one-of-a-kind all set to begin on January 24. At Yas Waterworld visitors will be stunned by the 238-metre long, world’s first and largest hydro magnetic powered, six-person tornado waterslide. Those who love thrill and for the adrenaline seekers three-meter high waves on Bubble’s Barrel is arranged, which has the world’s largest surfable sheet wave for flow boards and body boards Another attraction is the Bandit Bomber, a 550–meter coaster, is the first with onboard water and laser effects. The riders playing it can shoot jets of water at targets, drop water bombs and trigger special effects, while people below can spray them with water as they pass.

The park is based on the heritage of Abu Dhabi like pearl hunting. It has “The Lost Pearl” as its theme. Visitors will go around amusement park following the story of a young Emirati girl on a quest to find a legendary pearl as they make their way around the attractions, which include a souk and pearl-diving exhibits. Working time of the park in winter is from 10am to 6pm and in summer from 10am until 8pm. Tickets will be AED 225 (US$ 62) for adults and AED 185 (US$ 51) for children below 1.1 metres in height. Children 3 and younger go free.
